Hamilton Model 22 Two-day Deck Chronometer, Lancaster, Pennsylvania, 2 1/4-in. matte silver arabic numeral dial marked "Hamilton Lancaster, PA., U.S.A.," with up/down sector and seconds bit, 21-jewel, stem-wind, pin-set movement marked in part "U.S. Navy-BU Ships 1942," in a fully gimbaled brass bowl, all in a three-tier mahogany case, ht. 6 in.
Provenance: Brass plaque indicates that this chronometer watch was presented by Julian K. Roosevelt to the Seawanhaka Corinthian Yacht Club, Oyster Bay, New York, in memory of his father George E. Roosevelt.
