Logbook of United States Frigate Brandywine and Sloop of War Vincennes, many records apparently kept by Midshipman Richard W. Meade, United States Navy, 1826-1829, comprising hundreds of pages of detailed records of longitude, latitude, and weather observations for the Brandywine, the Vincennes, and the schooner Dolphin, all of which were off the South American Pacific Coast in about 1827, the leather bound volume with cloth cover, 13 1/2 x 8 1/2 in.
