Three Ink or Watercolor and Ink Drawings and a Logbook Page from the Frigate Merrimack's 1857-60 Voyage to the Pacific Ocean, probably A. Bovill, c. 1857-60, two watercolor representations titled "U.N.S. [sic] Merrimac (The anchorage on the Real--- River)," and "(Payta. Inner Point)," and an ink-captioned pencil sketch on blue paper showing the Guayaquil, a "(Peruvian Brig of War)," according to the artist, the logbook page with typical information (obscured by the placement of one watercolor), overall 19 x 16 1/4 in. with frame.
