Charles Kennedy's Boxed Sextant, Negus, New York, patinated pierced frame with brass and inset silver scale reading 0-120, and engraved "Negus New York," index arm with vernier scale 0-20, and magnifier, brass sighting scope, horizon mirror, dual grouping of sun shades, ribbed ebony handle, all housed in a green felt-lined fitted box with two eyepieces, plaque on the lid reading "Charles Kennedy Culzean Castle AYR."
