Shaker Yellow-stained Yarn Swift, Canterbury, New Hampshire, 19th century, maple, pine, and possibly ash, original yellow wash, smaller form of swift made at Hancock, Massachusetts, some string connecting blades original, some replacements, "M 5/125" in pencil on base, (minor imperfections), lg. of arms 11, overall 18 1/4 in.
Provenance: Acquired at Canterbury, New Hampshire.
