Most signed "Laura Hills" l.r., some with stamped monogram "LCH" within a circle, three unsigned.
Pencil, ink, and watercolor on paper, sizes to 17 1/2 x 11 3/4 in. (44.5 x 30.0 cm), unmatted, unframed.
Condition: Some with toning, minor soiling, creases.
Provenance: Through the estate of the artist.
N.B. Subjects include fairies ("winged creatures"), mothers and children, pansies, and ivy. The costume studies are annotated with ideas for materials, fabrication, and accessories for the character.
The drawings are presented in plastic notebook style sleeves.
