Rare Iroquois Beaded Cloth Saddle Blanket, c. 1870s, probably by the Tuscarora, black velvet with cotton lining, the beadwork panels on dark green velvet sewn to the black velvet, with floral designs and two birds at the rear corners done with large, mostly clear glass beads, (velvet worn from use, some bead loss),50 x 37 1/2 in.
