Large Blackfeet Beaded Buffalo Hide Knife Sheath, c. 1870s, probably from the Blood division, layered buffalo rawhide and with soft hide panel at the top, beaded on the front with an hourglass and cross design on the top panel, a lightning bolt design on the side, with red pigment, a row of brass tacks, and short twisted fringe, includes a large knife made from an old file, with a stag horn handle, includes stand, lg. 14 1/4 in.
