Two Striking Carriage Clocks, France, c. 1890, both in brass and beveled glass cases, one with enamel Arabic numeral dial, eight-day time and strike movement regulated by a silvered platform escapement, the other with enamel Roman numeral dial and subsidiary alarm dial, eight-day time, petite sonnerie strike, and alarm movement with repeat on demand regulated by a platform escapement, ht. 6 to 6 1/2 in.
