Engraved Brass and Porcelain Hour Repeating Carriage Clock, France, c. 1880, the case fully engraved with foliage and flowers, painted porcelain dial and side panels depicting young women frolicking in a garden, dial marked for retailer Grore, Wigmore Street, London, eight-day time and hour strike movement stamped DG in an oval on the back plate, top-mounted repeat on command button, all in original leather carrying case, ht. with handle extended 5 1/2 in.
