Richard Rayment Brass Lantern Clock, Bury, c. 1725, Roman numeral chapter ring with half and quarter-hour markings, the center engraved with foliate decoration and Rich(d) Rayment/Bury, pierced steel single hand, cast brass frets, the center with dolphin pattern, top mounted bell in stirrup and brass ball feet, time and strike posted-frame movement with anchor escapement conversion and seconds pendulum, rear mounted count wheel strike, endless chain suspended lead driving weight and counterweight, ht. 15 in.

Case and components are in old lacquered surface, escapement converted to anchor and long pendulum, bell probably an old replacement, movement wants an overhaul, chapter ring probably silvered originally.
