Heinrich, New York, No. 644, chain fusee movement with spotted plates, spring detent escapement, maintaining power, split bimetallic balance, helical balance spring, in a fully gimbaled brass bowl with screw bezel, three-tier, brass-bound, rosewood box with brass carrying handles and maker's plaque marked as the dial, ht. 9, wd. 8 1/2, dp. 8 3/4 in.

Chronometer is currently running but should be lubricated, small veneer chip to front of box under the brass corner, veneer patch to box top, bezel glass loose but with the clock.
