Gorham Sterling Silver Tazza, Providence, 1872, shallow bowl with a stylized wave rim, two parrots to edge, and figural stem modeled as a classically draped woman on a circular foot with engraved monogram and armorial, ht. 10 3/4 in., approx. 29.1 troy oz.
Joint between stem and foot resoldered, stem and dish joint with several minor soldered areas. One parrot with very minor spot of verdigris to underside of tail (unobtrusive). Dish with minor surface wear, scattered pinprick dents, and pushed slightly on to stem (circular outline of stem visible to center).
