Gorham Sterling Silver and Parcel-gilt Japanesque Card Case, Providence, c. 1856, marked "CC" and "M," with dated engraving to base, with bright-cut engraved patterns and foliate motifs throughout, the front with an applied woman and a parasol, lg. 3 3/4 in., approx. 2.7 troy oz., in original silk case.
Estimate $300-500

In good overall condition with only very minor surface wear. Silk case with some minor wear particularly to outer case.
