Pair of Portuguese Colonial Chairs, 18th century, each with foliate ribbon crest rail, reticulated fretwork splat, downswept channeled arms and scrolled handholds, and shaped balloon seat framed by an acanthus- and shell-carved seat rail, all supported on cabriole legs decorated with anthemion and terminating in scroll feet, ht. 41 3/4 in.
