Description:

Pair of Gilt-bronze-mounted Sevres Porcelain Vases and Covers, France, 19th century, pineapple finial with horned satyr mask handles supported by a scrolled gallery, foliate socle and plinth, the porcelain a deep cobalt ground with gilt-framed square cartouches polychrome enamel-decorated with courting couples in landscapes to one side, the reverse with floral bouquets, ht. 14 1/4 in.
Estimate $800-1,200

Each with slightest gilt wear to rim. No evidence of any cracks, chips or restorations.
