Signed and dated "Susan March Phillipps 1798" in ink beneath the image l.l.
Ink and watercolor on paper, image size 13 1/2 x 18 in. (34.2 x 45.8 cm),framed.
Condition: Toning, sheet mounted to a secondary support paper, unmatted, framed behind a reverse-painted glass "mat."
N.B. Susan March Phillipps was the daughter of Charles Lisle and Anne Lisle, wife of Thomas March Phillipps, mother of four children, including Charles March Phillipps, MP.

With a label from Shreve Crump & Low Company, Boston, on the back of the frame. Partial labels on the frame backing board with a London address. Also inscribed with the artist's name and date of the work in a later hand on the backing board.
