Three-piece Louis XVI-style Giltwood Seating Suite, early 20th century, two chairs and a settee, each covered in an ivory damask stripe, each with a carved crest rail highlighted by a cartouche in center with putti and neoclassical motifs, downswept arms with scrolled handholds, rosettes framing a carved frieze, supported on channeled legs, settee ht. 38 1/2, wd. 48, dp. 23 3/4, chairs ht. 40 1/2, wd. 26 1/4 in.
Estimate $700-900

Material is thin along arm rests; cushions of seats stanied; material on backside of a chair and settee with tear. all three pieces with structurally sound frames. Gilding especially (but nicely) worn to arm rests and along edges.
