German .800 Silver Sauceboat, after 1886, bearing unknown maker's mark, also marked "G. Hermeling," with a gold-washed interior, acanthus-capped handle, engraved inscription to underside, embossed bellflowers and pendant leafy sprays throughout, and an attached undertray, lg. 9 in., approx. 21.8 troy oz.
