Signed indistinctly "Amigoni/Cop.V. F...ert" l.r.
Oil on canvas, 47 1/8 x 58 3/4 in. (120.0 x 149.0 cm), framed.
Condition: Surface grime.

N.B. The scene depicts the Old Testament story of Bathsheba at her toilette, receiving a messenger from King David summoning her to the palace (2 Samuel 11). The work is thought to be a 19th century copy.
Estimate $3,000-5,000
