Pair of Louis XV-style Painted Marble-top Consoles, each with shaped green with white marble top surmounting a frieze of acanthine shell and foliate scrolls, extending to heavily carved cabriole legs, joined by a stretcher, ht. 29, wd. 55 1/2, dp. 15 1/2 in.
Estimate $500-700

Numerous repairs and restorations, chipped losses to wood and painted surface, and worming throughout. Feet later. Traces of gilding to each. Marble tops with scattered abrasions and wear, one with repaired break to center.
