Gustav IV-style Green- and White-painted Bergere, 20th century, the wood frame decorated with rosettes, wreath, and bellflower garlands, lion's head masks, with curved, padded back, downswept padded arms, cushioned trapezoidal seat, and supported on carved splayed legs, later fabric, ht. 42, wd. 28 3/4, dp. 27 1/2 in.
Material is very worn, especially to arm rests and about head. Structurally sound with areas of repaint and touch up; age typical abrasions and usage wear.
