Georgian Mahogany Long Case Clock, Scotland, 19th century, dial inscribed "Geo. Smith" on face, painted with shell and floral motif, case with broken scroll pediment, bonnet flanked by tapered columns, eight-day time and hour strike movement, ht. 81 1/4, wd. 18 3/4, dp. 10 1/2 in.
Cracks to either side of hood, one side of hood missing glass, feet probably later. Lacking area of molding to one side. Repaired break to pediment, pediment also with minor worming and popping to veneer. One capital lacking two nails (loose but attached). Clock not guaranteed to be in working order.
