French .950 Silver Pitcher, Paris, 1819-38, maker's mark indistinct, urn-form with engraved monogram, acanthus-capped scroll handle joined to the body with a high relief casting of Apollo's head, and foliate and beaded scrolls to lower body, on a short stem with beaded knop terminating in a leaftip-cast foot, ht. 14 7/8 in., approx. 45.9 troy oz.

Scattered dents and minor surface abrasions to body. Handle also with some very minor dents to center and scrolled knop. Foot bent in slightly (very slightly off-kilter and rocks on foot).
