Continental Silver Ink Stand, possibly 18th century, bearing rubbed marks to tray surface including "10" probably loth .625 standard, and maker's mark within a diamond or triangular cartouche, rectangular with a reticulated scrollwork gallery on paw feet with a single candle arm, tray lg. 7 1/4 in., approx. 32.4 troy oz.
Scattered spots of verdigris and surface wear throughout. Lacking one screw. Pots pushed slightly into surface of tray, also with scattered minor dents, one dent to rim with related joint separation (lid also does not sit well). Tray edge (where folded over base) with scattered areas of metal fatigue.
