George II Provincial Sterling Silver Mug, Newcastle, 1753-54, Robert Makepeace I, maker, tapering form with a scrolled handle engraved with monogram "E*S" and a flared circular foot, ht. 4 1/4 in., approx. 8.6 troy oz.
Estimate $500-700

Surface wear and minor dents consistent with age, handle joints pushed slightly into body. Irregularities to foot joint, possible restored or reworked (see images).
