Joseph Landais Palissy Ware Platter, Tours, France, c. 1855, enameled earthenware with cream-colored oval dish adorned with central shells and bordered with snake, frog, lizard, and crayfish among raised foliage, brown and green sponged backside, lg. 21 1/2 in.
Estimate $1,200-1,800

Restorations to rim (mostly along backside edge) and underside of dish center with glaze loss.
