Condition: Surface grime, varnish discoloration.
Provenance: A Massachusetts estate.
N.B. This work is a copy after the original Arabs on the March in the collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. The original measures 22 5/8 x 37 3/4 inches and was bequeathed to the museum by Catharine Lorillard Wolfe in 1887.
According to labels on another signed frame, Feliciano Nemiccolo's frame-making studio was located in Readville, Massachusetts.
