Set of Twelve Mintons Pate-sur-Pate Plates, England, 1917, retailed by Bailey, Banks and Biddle of Philadelphia, cream ground with border panels of gray ground decorated in white slip with classical subjects by Alboin Birks, alternating with elaborate raised gold floral and foliate panels, the inner rim with beaded festoons, artist monogram, printed marks, dia. 10 1/4 in.
