Minton Porcelain Partial Tea Service, England, c. 1830-40, gilt trim to a blue ground with foliate scroll framed cartouches polychrome enamel decorated with landscapes of houses and castles, including a covered teapot, lg. 9 5/8; teapot stand, dia. 7 5/8; covered two-handled sugar bowl, lg. 7; waste bowl, dia. 6 3/8; ten teacups and saucers; and a cake dish, lg. 9 1/2 in.
Provenance: Deaccessioned from the Worcester Art Museum, Worcester, Massachusetts.
Cups with light and scattered gilt wear. saucers with heavier gilt wear, especially to centers of some; one saucer with a 1/4" rim chip on exterior edge. Waste bowl with gilt wear to rim and bowl center.
