Copeland Parian Figure of Miss Ellie, England, c. 1875, the nude figure of a child modeled with free flowing hair, loosely draped with foliage and seated atop a freeform rocky base set with shells, the base with inscribed title, "Vide Water Babies" and sculptor "J. Durham, ARA. 1872," impressed factory mark, ht. 20 1/4 in.
Slightest scattered nicks surrounding footrim. No evidence of any cracks, chips or restorations.
