Georgian Mahogany Secretary Bookcase, England, 19th century, upper case with two arched mullioned doors and an interior with four shelves, lower case with stepped front and four central drawers flanked by doors; one side opening to reveal a drawer fitted with dividers for bottles and four small drawers, the other side door opening to reveal an interior with single shelf and a drawer fitted with dividers, ht. 90 1/2, wd. 49, dp. 20 in.
Scattered minor nicks and abrasions to surfaces, some minor chipped loss to molding. Minor professional restoration throughout including masking veneer cracks, veneer patches, etc. Uppermost central drawer locked shut. Molding along the bottom of the base probably later or restored.
