Lowestoft Porcelain Teapot and Cover, England, c. 1787, globular shape with loop handle, polychrome enamel decorated with diapering to a bib border with butterflies above floral sprigs, a large floral spray flanked by sprigs to one side, all in the manner of Thomas Curtis, the reverse inscribed "John, Harm. 1787," ht. 6 1/4 in.

Cover: Shallow 1/4" rim chip; other rim chips restored.
Pot: Slight enamel flakes to spout; curled hairline of approx. 1 3/4" to the body below the spout terminal.
