Description:

Staffordshire White Salt-glazed Stoneware Figure of Spinario, England, c. 1760, modeled as a Greco-Roman boy seated removing a thorn from his foot, mounted atop a stepped rectangular base, overall lg. 5 1/2, ht. 5 1/4 in.

Provenance: Chorley Collection.
Estimate $600-800

Professionally restored through at neck. Slight chip to a corner of the base.
