Black-glazed Red Stoneware Milk Jug and Cover, England, c. 1750-60, pear shape with molded crabstock handle, twig finial, and vine decorated spout, a relief of vines, broad leaves and flower heads to either side, all set on three raised feet, overall ht. 6 in.
Provenance: Ex John Eliot Hodgkin collection.

Cover: 1/8" and 3/4" rim chips.
Pot: Spout lip with 3/8" chip to tip and several small chips to edges.
