Lead-glazed Tree Bole Teapot and Cover, England, c. 1765-70, probably Staffordshire, cream-colored body press-molded as a tree stump with moss and leaves, translucent decorated in gray with green, ht. 4 7/8 in.
Cover: restored chips.
Pot: Approximately 1" of spout restored; the underside of the base with two sizable hairlines, one running half way across thsat curls along the foot intersecting with one that runs from edge to edge and slightly (1") curls along the foot at both sides.
