Description:

Lead-glazed Earthenware Teapot and Cover, England, c. 1760-70, cream-colored globular shape with molded reeded spout, floral knop, and crabstock handle, allover mottled patches of brown, blue, green, gray, and yellow and with flowers and scrolled foliage in relief, ht. 4 7/8 in.

Cover: Restorations to finial and to rim chips; several chips under the lip of the rim.
Pot: Chips to inner rim; top of one leaf missing; spout restored; shallow 1/4" chip to foot; spider hairline under the base.
