Description:

Glazed Solid Agate Ware Ale Pot, England, c. 1740, probably Staffordshire, attributed to the Lower Street Potworks under Samuel Bell, baluster shape with a grooved flat loop handle, dark brown, iron red, and black clays, ht. 4 1/2 in.
