Description:

White Salt-glazed Stoneware Spirit Mug, England, c. 1720-30, probably Staffordshire, cylindrical shape with simple loop handle having a central channel, the rim dipped in brown, ht. 3 1/8 in.

Estimate $1,500-2,500

Areas of crazing; firing line to the inside edge of the lower handle terminal; minor abrasions along the top rim; very slight 3/4" rim hairline that appears to the interior only.
