Description:

Four-piece Victorian Sterling Silver Tea and Coffee Service, London, 1859-60, Robert Harper, maker, each with rocaille C-scrolls, cartouches, and floral sprays on four paw feet topped with lion head masks, teapot and coffeepot with bird-form finials, creamer and open sugar bowl, coffeepot ht. 10 3/4 in., approx. 80.9 troy oz.
Estimate $1,800-2,200

Monogram removal to vacant cartouches (unobtrusive, silver slightly thinner). Handles to teapot and coffeepot loose by present, lacking insulators. Otherwise in good overall condition with only minor surface wear.
