Tin-glazed Earthenware May Day Tile, England, c. 1757-61, probably Liverpool, attributed to John Sadler printshop, brownish-black printed with a scrolled border and Hogarth-type urban scene, inscribed lower left "J. Sadler Liverp," 5 x 5 in.

Two glaze chips to front edge; very slight chips and abrasions along edges.
