Tin-glazed Earthenware Dolphin Plate,
England, c. 1730, probably London, the circular form with flat rim all polychrome enamel decorated, the border with Chinese scrolls alternating with crosses and dots surrounding a central allegorical figure spouting water and set in a water landscape flanked by two sailing ships, dia. 8 3/4 in.
