Description:

Tin-glazed Earthenware Ballooning Dish, England, c. 1784, probably London, blue decorated feathering to the rim with floral festoons surrounding the central landscape with houses and fenced yard, the green balloon with manganese supports and gondola, dia. 7 7/8 in.

Heavy chipping to the glaze along the rim; patches of stacking wear to the glaze.
