Description:

Two Tin-glazed Earthenware Plates, England, mid to third quarter 18th century, probably Bristol and London, each decorated in a purple manganese, one with scroll border surrounding a central floral garden with fence, dia. 9; another with scallops and arrowheads to border surrounding a central Chinese landscape, dia. 7 3/4 in.
Estimate $700-900

Each with age typical glaze wear and abrasions to rims. Chinese landscape with several craze lines to the glaze.
