Two Tin-glazed Earthenware Dishes, England, 18th century, each blue decorated, a rim-to-rim Chinese coastal landscape with house, junk, and sampan, probably London, c. 1780, dia. 9; and a foliate-decorated with five leaves to a border surrounding a central foliate "pinwheel," probably Bristol, c. 1730-40, dia. 8 3/4 in.
Provenance: The Troy Chappell Collection.
Coastal landscape: Glaze loss surrounding rim and with 1/2" chip; overall glaze crazing.
Foliate: Glaze loss and several chips surrounding rim.
