Seven-piece Mexican Sterling Silver Tea and Coffee Service, Mexico City, mid to late 20th century, maker's mark "MERJ," each with a lobed body and scrolled accents, kettle-on-stand with burner, coffeepot, teapot, waste bowl, sugar, creamer, and tray, kettle-on-stand ht. 13 3/8, tray lg. handle to handle 30 in., approx. 286.8 troy oz.
Estimate $3,000-4,000

Tray with minor surface abrasions. Heat stops to coffeepot removed, handle soldered together, scattered dents to lobed body, some soldered over. Kettle burner hinge slightly loose. Sugar lacking cover. Otherwise minor surface wear and scattered minor dents.
