Description:

Large Polychrome Pottery Jar, Persia or northern India, 19th century, the sides rising to broad shoulders and narrowing at the neck, with an everted mouth rim, decorated with boteh and stylized floral roundels in cobalt blue, green, dark brown and pink glazes, over a crackled cream glazed ground, ht. 14 in.

Glaze chips at the rim, few glaze chips repaired.
