Tall Square Pewter Vase, China, 20th century, with tapering sides and rounded shoulder, flaring mouth with straight rim, resting on a soldered two-tiered stem foot, decorated in applied brass with auspicious plants on four sides and a band of banana leaf lappet around the neck, "made in Hong Kong" mark to base, with a square wood stand, ht. 18 1/4 in.
Provenance: The pewter collection of Ruth Raymond, Beacon Hill, who began collecting in the 1940s.
