Description:

Canton Enamel Brush Washer, China, 18th century-style, rectangular with rounded top, resting on four bracket feet, decorated with auspicious plants and fruit, many of which contained in old vessels below a lappet band around the mouth, gilt details, copper rimmed mouth and foot, the interior enameled in brown, four-character Qianlong mark in a double ring square on base, ht. 1 5/8, wd. 3 3/8, dp. 1 1/2 in.

retouches to some areas, minor loss of gilt, otherwise in good condition.
