Illuminated Firman Manuscript, Persia, 19th century, opaque color and gold on paper, seven lines of Nastaliq script within cloud bands and surrounded by gilt, bordered by panels of scrolling florals and quatrefoil cartouches filled with blue, a seal stamp within a boteh-form cartouche, framed and glazed, sight size 23 1/4 x 15 in.
